To get your AC Card + U-Pass for the Fall 2025 Term, you are required to submit a photo online. Card Services does not take photos in person. 

Your network username and password will allow you to log into the AC Photo portal and upload a photo. You can find your network username and password on ACSIS (Algonquin College Student Information System).

Note – If your network account credentials are not available on ACSIS, please contact the Registrar’s Office.

Once your photo is approved, you will receive an email with instructions on how to pick up your card.

New U-Passes are valid beginning September 1, 2025.

U-Pass Renewal Information

Returning students who already have an AC Card + U-Pass (one card): U-Passes will automatically be renewed for U-Pass eligible students who have already picked up their AC Card + U-Pass for a previous term.

Returning students who do not have the AC Card + U-Pass (still have a blue U-Pass card): If you did not pick up an AC Card + U-Pass in a previous term, you will need a new card as all old AC Cards and U-Passes have been replaced with one card! Your existing AC Card and blue U-Pass will no longer work. If you require the an AC Card + U-Pass (one card), please visit the Card Services office to get your new card, at no additional cost. You do not need to upload a new photo, as we will use your existing photo still on file. Please bring your current AC Card with you, as we will need to collect it when we issue you a new AC Card + U-Pass. You can pick up your new AC Card from the Card Services Office located in E120 (first floor of student commons). 

Returning students who have never had an AC Card and or U-Pass: Returning students who have never had an AC Card must upload a photo online. Once your photo is approved, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to pick up your AC Card + U-Pass card. DYK: Your U-Pass is not valid during each “break” term. It is only valid when you are a full-time registered Algonquin College student and paying U-Pass fees. During these terms, you might be eligible for a discounted EquiPass from OC Transpo.
