Bursaries by Area of Study

The following links will take you to the bursaries which are available for each area of study. You can apply for all bursaries through one application on ACSIS. Login using your student number and click on Bursary Application in the Financial Aid section of the left hand menu.

IMPORTANT: Applying for a bursary does not guarantee acceptance as the number of applicants can often surpass the bursary funds available. When this occurs, applicants are chosen based on the highest amount of financial need. Due to the high volume of applicants and a limited bursary budget, reviews or appeals are not available for these bursaries. Bursaries received after the deadline will not be accepted. Please note: The individual bursary amounts are subject to change without notice based on availability of funds. *Funds for these bursaries have been matched through the Ontario Trust for Student Support (OTSS) with the provincial government and to be eligible, you must be a Canadian Citizen and have been a resident of Ontario for one year without attending full-time post-secondary studies in the province prior to submitting your bursary application.

Instructions:

  • Log in to student information portal ACSIS
  • Select “Apply for Bursary” under Financial Aid
  • Follow instructions to complete the application

Eligibility

  • You must demonstrate a clear financial need.
  • You must be currently enrolled in a full-time program.
  • If you are a part-time student and unable to access the online bursary application please email us at bursaries@algonquincollege.com for a paper application.
  • You can be enrolled at the Woodroffe, Perth or Pembroke campuses.
  • You must be in good academic standing to receive a bursary.
