Spring Term

The Spring 2024 bursary application are open from April 22 to May 22.

Spring bursary now open and will close on May 22, 2024. An email notification will be sent out to all successful applicants the week of June 24, 2024. For more information please email studentawards@algonquincollege.com.


Funds for bursaries marked with an asterisk are matched through the Ontario Trust for Student Support (OTSS). To be eligible, you must be a Canadian Citizen and have been a resident of Ontario for at least 12 consecutive months, and must not have attended full-time post-secondary studies in the year prior to submitting your bursary application.

Adamson Associates Architects Bursary

Adamson Architects Associates has established the Adamson Architects Bursary to support Indigenous Students enrolled in either the Architect Technician or the Architect Technology Program offered through the Algonquin Centre for Construction Excellence.

Algonquin College Student Assistance Bursary

Awarded to students based on financial need.

Algonquin College Students’ Association Jack Doyle Bursary*

Awarded to students who can demonstrate financial need and represent the Students’ Association mission to inspire student success. Current Students’ Association Board Members are not eligible.

Canadian Federation of University Women – Nepean Bursary

Awarded to an Indigenous female student enrolled at the Ottawa Campus who can demonstrate financial need.

Don East Memorial Bursary*

Awarded to students in any full-time program at any campus who can demonstrate financial need. Special consideration is given to students from rural areas.

Doris Kelly Bursary

The Doris Kelly Bursary will be awarded to one (1) student completing Level 6 in the English for Academic Purposes program. Preference will be given to a student who has enrolled in a certificate or diploma program for the fall term at the College. The student will receive $1,000.

MBNA Canada Bursary*

Awarded to students enrolled in Level 02 who can demonstrate financial need. Special consideration will be given to students related to Algonquin College alumni. Bursary is applied towards Fall tuition.

Respect RX Pharmacy Perseverance Bursary

Awarded to students enrolled in any full-time program at any campus who have experienced trauma, mental health distress, or addiction and who can demonstrate financial need. Despite these struggles, the recipients continue to persevere and maintain a satisfactory academic standing in their program.
