| CLASSROOM
COURSES
Traditional face-to-face courses are delivered in a classroom or lab setting. The learning environment includes group work, projects, lessons and hands-on practice. It can also include online collaboration and assignments. All courses are expected to use Blackboard for at least basic communication with students. |

ONLINE
COURSES
These courses are delivered solely online via Blackboard - the College's web-based course management system. General Education electives and Distance Education courses are delivered through Blackboard. |

HYBRID COURSES
Hybrid courses combine classroom and out-of-class activities. Often, it delivers a portion of the material online and reduces the amount of time spent in the classroom. In general, the professor structures and facilitates learning activities within the online, classroom and sometimes field work environments. |

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
Experiential learning involves the application of in-school learning in real world situations, such as labs, clinical placements, and co-op work placements. This mode is an important feature of College education that helps students get hands-on experience in their chosen field. |
