Managing Benefits™
Go beyond a box-checking approach to program implementation to benefits-led change.
Managing Benefits consolidates existing guidance on benefits management while teaching proven practices and techniques for maximizing financial and other returns on projects, programs and investments.
About the program
Drawing on a wide range of disciplines beyond project management, including behavioural finance, psychology, systems thinking and neuroscience, Managing Benefits enables project owners and managers to move from activity-led approaches to planning and delivery to benefits-led change.
The five-day course conforms to the latest syllabus issued by APMG International, the Managing Benefits accrediting body, and prepares learners to sit for certification at the Foundation and Practitioner levels.
Choose your certification path
- The Managing Benefits Foundation course (3 days) teaches the benefits management principles, practices and techniques needed to work effectively in a range of benefits management roles. It may be taken on its own but must be successfully completed prior to taking the Practitioner course.
- Managing Benefits Practitioner certification (2 days) confirms that you’ve achieved a comprehensive understanding of how to apply and tailor the principles and best practices of benefits management to a live organizational context.
Who should attend
- Anyone involved in change or program delivery, from senior owners and directors to portfolio, program and project managers
- Business case writers, finance professionals and project appraisers
- Others with an interest in successful delivery of change, including strategic planners, operational performance managers, internal and external auditors, and procurement professionals
- Project managers looking to earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) to maintain Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification
